Judith Ann Young

Judith Ann (Mounce) “Judy” Young, age 73, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at her home.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Michael Schwartz conducting. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born April 30, 1934 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Wilburn & Anna Loudermilk. In 1955 in Atoka she married Orville Mounce, who preceded her in death in 2006. In 1989 she moved from Southern California to Grants Pass. For 15 years she worked as a certified nursing assistant at Fair View Transitional Heath Center and Laurel Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Survivors include four children, Chris Mounce and Jesse Mounce both of Grants Pass; Lesia Dianna Lopez of Santa Clarita, California and Montie Ann Carey of Visalia, California; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Nathan, Jeremey, Kristal, Michael, Joseph, Lesia, Larissa and her husband, Matt, Jenny, David, Leesa, Triniti, Kristen, and Brian.
