Joyce Canfield, 78, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.
No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Joyce was born November 9, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas to Fred & Ola Specht. In 1935 she moved to California where her mother married Stan Canfield. Joyce attended and graduated from Pepperdine University in 1950. She worked for Litton Industries in Los Angeles. In 1965 she moved with her parents to Grants Pass.
She especially enjoyed writing and photography.
Survivors include two cousins, Robert N. Specht and Marilyn Manton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
