John Gregg

John Gregg, age 88, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at his home.

Private services were held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

John was born May 27, 1919 in Hartford, Connecticut to Alexander & Pauline Gregorowich. He was a graduate of Plainville High School and attended college both in Connecticut. On July 24, 1945 in Southington, Connecticut he married Madeline S. Babinetz. He worked as a quality control engineer for 37 years. In 1977 he moved from Southern California to Grants Pass.

He was active in both HASL and Rascal.

His hobbies included sculpting, ceramics, woodworking, traveling, and camping.

In addition to his wife, Madeline Gregg of Grants Pass; he is survived by two daughters, Susan Wickstrom of Vernonia and Frankie Hartsfield of Rogue River; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Philip Gregg in 2006.
