Jerry K. Arnold

Jerry K. Arnold, age 68, of Cave Junction, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Fair View Transitional Health Center.

Services will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Jerry was bon October 21, 1941 at the family home in Cave Junction to Cecil & Lola (Gardner) Arnold. In 1962 he married, but later divorced. For two years he lived in Alaska where he worked on the pipeline and mined for gold. He was a faller for several local logging companies. He also worked at Cabax Mill as a loader operator.

Jerry was a member of the Teamsters Union in Alaska.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, animals, tinkering, spending time in the outdoors and with his family.

Survivors include two daughters, Holly Arnold and Kimberley Rentz both of Cave Junction; two sisters, Drucilla “Ruth” Walker and Connie Gardner both of Roseburg; two brothers, Bill Arnold of Livermore, California and Bob Arnold of Tracy, California; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Allen Arnold who died as an infant.
