She attended schools in Fairbanks, Anchorage, Kenai, Homer and Seldovia. Jennine graduated from Anchorage High School back in the days when there was only one high school in Anchorage. She worked as an accountant for Continental Motors in Anchorage, and later as an agent with Prudential/Jack White Real Estate in Wasilla.

On January 17, 1958, she married James W. Clement, and they had two children, Mark Louis Clement, of Prineville, Oregon and Jeffrey Ward Clement of Anchorage, Alaska. The family loved the outdoors and spent many weekends at their cabin at Moose Pass, south of Anchorage and then on their boat in Seward. Jennine and Jim were active for thirty years in the Coast Guard Auxiliary, until Jim’s passing in 1995.

Jennine married Rob Smith on February 10, 1996 in Anchorage, Alaska. They left Alaska and moved to Williams, Oregon in 2004.

Jennine loved the Lord, Jesus Christ, and treasured time spent learning of Him.

Jennine is survived by her husband, Rob Smith; her two sons; two sisters, Sharon Browning and husband, Dennis and Denise Langlois Cebrian; two brothers, Lyle Broughman and Shawn Broughman and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Louis Clement; her step-father and her step-mother, Pherne Langlois and a sister, Lynn Langlois.
