James Ronald Puehl

James Ronald “Jim” Puehl, age 81, of Grants Pass, died February 18, 2022 at Oak Lane.

Jim was born October 29, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he later met the love of his life, Nancy. Jim and Nancy were married in 1962 and stayed together until her passing in 2014.

Jim and his family moved from Cincinnati to Washington in 1979, where he was employed with Boeing Aerospace as an Engineer, and later retired after 23 years.

After retirement, Jim and Nancy moved to Grants Pass and later purchased property in Roseburg in 2005. After Nancy’s passing in 2014 Jim remained at the property until 2022.

Jim was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending his time learning about astronomy, gemology, and archery.

Jim is survived by daughters Linda and Judy and sons Ken and Jim.

Private interment was held at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens
