James Milan Duncan

James M. Duncan, 75 of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on May 10, 2018 peacefully in his sleep.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on May 21, 2018 at Hull and Hull, Father Tetzel of Saint Ann’s Catholic Church will be officiating. Visitations will be held at 9:30 am. Burial will follow the funeral at Eagle Point National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hull and Hull Funeral Home.

Jim was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 21, 1942. He attended Jordan Valley High School and enlisted in the Navy in January 1960. Jim retired from the Oregon Department of Transportation with 25 years of service.

Jim was married to Maria I. Duncan (Martinez) on January 23, 1965; they were married for 53 years.

Jim worked as a manager of a bridge crew for ODOT. He enjoyed fishing, boating, watching movies, traveling (RV) and spending time with family and friends.

Jim is survived by his wife Maria I. Duncan; his four children Debbie Uilkie and her husband Tom, Amanda M. Waites and her husband Mark, Angie M. Duncan, James C. Duncan and his wife Michelle; His 10 grandchildren Andrea, Lindsey, AJ, Baylee, Sydney, Chloe, Joseph, Patricia, Jesse, Eric; His 4 great grandchildren Hannah, Kaylee, Kamdyn, Konstance; His brother Robert Duncan and nieces and nephews, and the rest of his relatives and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents Pate and Nanny Duncan as well as his brother Tom and sisters Louise, Nola and Maryalice.
