Isabell Helen Heap

Isabell Ellen Heap, age 85, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her home.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Jerome Prairie Bible Church with Pastor James Downing officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Isabell was born May 7, 1924 in Nisland, South Dakota to William & Dorothy Fuller. In 1938 she moved from South Dakota to Grants Pass where she attended local school including Grants Pass High School. On October 26, 1940 in Klamath Falls she married Albert John Heap.

Isabell was a member of Jerome Prairie Bible Church and a local bowling league.

Her hobbies included bowling, copper work, gardening, crocheting, reading, and going to lunch with friends. She especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Duckworth of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Wilma Botts of Cutler, California; two brothers, Curtis Fuller of Washington and Thomas Fuller of Bandon, Oregon; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Heap in 2003, a daughter, Dorothy Nicholson in 2010, two sisters, and a brother.
