Howard Kennie "Tubbs" Blevins

Howard Kennie “Tubbs” Blevins, age 64, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at home in Glendale, Oregon.

Howard was born on March 15, 1952 in Canyonville, Oregon to Dewey and Mildred Blevins. He attended school in Glendale all twelve years. He was class president his freshman year and excelled in football, basketball and baseball all four years, graduating in 1970. He worked as a timber faller in Oregon and Northern California.

His hobbies included watching and attending sporting events, woodcrafting, working in the yard and spending time in the woods.

Survivors include his mother Mildred Narie Blevins of Glendale, OR; one brother, Larry Blevins of Merlin, OR; two sisters, Donna Stewart of Grants Pass, OR and Dana Coate of Roseburg, OR; many nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Rhonda Blevins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Kennie Blevins; and an older brother, Glenn Austin Blevins.
