Gerald W. Cowie

Gerald W. Cowie, age 74, of Grants Pass, died March 29, 2017 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

Gerald Wayne Cowie was born June 13, 1942 in Vancouver, Washington to Marshall & Ilia Cowie. He moved from Phoenix, Arizona to Grants Pass 20 years ago. He worked at Goodwill in Grants Pass on 5th Street.

Gerald was a kind-hearted person who always thought of others. He enjoyed helping people through his work at Goodwill. He enjoyed his close friendship at work and the home where he lived.

Gerald knitted hats and donated them to anyone who needed them. He enjoyed flying kites in Arizona and riding his bike in Grants Pass.

Survivors include his brother, David Cowie of Black Canyon City, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews including Dan Ford of Rogue River.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Steve Cowie and two sisters, Joan Ford and Anita Cowie.

Private services have been held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
