On the evening of July 4th 2014, Evelyn Grace Booth passed away of natural causes at the Mill Creek Lodge Senior Care in Prineville, Oregon. Evelyn was 83 years old. She was born in Redmond, Oregon to Helen & Charles Banta on November 27th 1930.
Evelyn loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings. She loved to garden and sew. Evelyn had the most beautiful yard of flowers and the garden was full of vegetables. She also loved to watch birds and knew most by their names. She always enjoyed a good book.
Evelyn lived in Merlin, Oregon most of her adult life. She married Eulice in 1949, and lived in the home he built for over sixty years. She then moved to Prineville, Oregon and lived next to her son, Charles and wife, Geneva for the remaining years of her life.
Evelyn is survived by her two sons Charles Booth of Prineville, Oregon and Steve Booth of Philomath, Oregon. She had six Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren.
Evelyn’s graveside service will be held at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass, Oregon (2500 upper River road) on Saturday, July 12th 2014 at 2:00pm
