Ellen Louise Dalton

Ellen L. Dalton, age 81, of Grants Pass, died Friday, September 20, 2019 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

She was born to Estal and Alta (Bebb) Coffman on April 18, 1938 in Colby, Kansas. After graduating from the Colby, Kansas high school, Ellen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wichita, Kansas and worked as a Registered Nurse in several states including Oregon, Kansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Hawaii, California and Texas. In 1974 she married Delbert G. Dalton.

Ellen enjoyed photography, painting and ancestry research.

Survivors include her children, Michael Dalton, Tina Stammer, John Dalton and Vicki Leonard; sister, Phylis McKeen; brother, Richard Coffman; and 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Ellen is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A celebration of life will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Newman United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
