Ella V. Dooley

Ella V. Dooley, age 73, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at her home.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Ella was born January 8, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to John & Mary Cerami. In 2007 she moved from Woodland Hills, California to Grants Pass to live with her daughter, Tracy and her grandsons, Thomas and Tyler and near her sister, Jo. Ella was quite the business woman; she owned a music studio, an antique store, a clothing store and three flower shops throughout her life and was also a successful real estate agent. She recently re-opened Rogue River Florist with her daughter, Tracy, who will carry on successfully in her spirit.

Ella had a love for travel and adventure and traveled to many exotic places. She was the best MaMa and G-ma ever and will be so very missed.

Survivors include two daughters, Tracy Dooley and Kelly Dooley; a sister, Jo Schlehoffer; a brother, John Cerami; six grandchildren, Thomas Dooley, Tyler Dooley, Jimmy Leighton, Alexa Leighton, Chelsea Dooley, and Kevin Dooley; and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Lila.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; a son, Michael; and a daughter, Debbie.
