Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Murphy

Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Murphy, age 89, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her home.

No services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Libby was born December 30, 1919 in Pasadena, California to Maurice & Edna Hopper. She was raised in the small community of Wilmar, California along with her two sisters and one brother. On February 25, 1940 in Wilmar she married James L. Murphy. In 1980 she moved from South San Gabriel, California to Grants Pass.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan of Grants Pass; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James L. Murphy who died in 2003 and two sons.
