Eileen Robertson

July 11, 1919 — November 28, 2012

Eileen Robertson, age 93, of Grants Pass, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.

A viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 3, 2012 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2012 at Redwood Country Church with Pastor Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

Eileen was born in Jerome, Idaho, July 11, 1919. She was married to V.T. 'Bob' Robertson July 21, 1937. After a couple years in California and Arizona, Eileen & Bob moved to Hawthorne, Nevada where they spent 30 years raising their 2 boys and 1 daughter. In 1973 they moved to Grants Pass and bought a home on Annabelle Lane and spending their winters in Quartzite, Arizona. They shared a happy 'storybook' marriage for 73 years before the 'love of her life' went home to be with The Lord two years ago. For the last two years Eileen lived at Countryside Village. She loved praying for and writing letters to friends, family and missionaries. For over 20 years she was a 'Greeter' at Redwood Country Church and loved hosting 5 Day Bible Clubs in her back yard.

Survived by: son Roger Robertson of Amarillo, TX, daughter Lori Jensen and son Fred Robertson of Glendale, Oregon. Sisters Fern Decker Jerome, ID. Doris Reese Union Fork, VA. Artie Clark of Roseville, CA and brother John Henage of Anaheim, CA. Eileen had 9 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren at the time of her home going.

Preceded in Death by: V.T. Robertson her husband now of 75 years, granddaughter Rebecca Robertson, three brothers, Earl, Fred, and Tom Henage, and sister June Chase.
