Edward "Ted" Booth

Edward Lodge Booth, age 81, of Glendale, OR passed away at his home on June 22, 2018.

Born in Grants Pass in 1936, Edward and his family moved to Ohio, and then returned to Oregon, settling in Glendale when he was nine years of age.

Edward graduated from Glendale High School in 1955 and went to work in the timber industry until retirement. In 1958, he married Cecile Chambers and they had two children, John & Kristie. In his later years, he and Cecile bought and operated a small cattle ranch.

He was a member of the Glendale Historical Society, but his greatest passion was airplanes, owning and flying his own plane for 23 years.

Edward is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cecile Booth, his two children, John (Kim) Booth of Anchorage, Alaska and Kristie (Jimmy) Jamieson of Las Vegas, Nevada; his four grandchildren, Lindsey Jamieson, Dakota Jamieson, Connor Booth and Olivia Booth; and one brother, James G. Booth of Glendale.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Willard & Margaret Booth and his brother, John W. Booth.

Edward was a kind, honorable man who loved his family, loved animals, and had many, many great friends.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Angiolet residence in Glendale, Oregon.
