Edward L. Gutierrez

Edward Luis Gutierrez 66 of Glendale OR. passed away November 21st 2022, at Three Rivers Medical Center, surrounded by his family. His loving Wife, Mary Gutierrez, his three Daughters, Sherri Clark Myrtle Creek Or., Kristy Gutierrez Port Orford OR., Tamara Gutierrez Graham WA., and his Son, Tyrone Doney Prospect OR.

Edward was born on July 4th 1956 in Grants Pass Oregon, to Lee and Kikue Gutierrez. When he was little he thought the fireworks on his Birthday were for him. For all of us fireworks will forever remind us of precious Papa.

He attended Glendale Elementary School, and then Glendale High where he found his first love and future Wife Mary. He worked at the Robert Dollar Mill, and later for Gregory.

When Gregory closed its doors he attended Rogue Community College where he studied Respitory Therapy. He ultimately started working for DCS in Grants Pass, where he made some lifelong friendships. He retired in 2019.

He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed hunting. He loved cooking and was excellent at it. One if his favorite traditional dishes he made was Nori Maki (California Rolls), which he learned from his mother and then passed onto his girls.

He attended the Assembly of God Church, and loved Jesus Christ. Edward was a loving family man, never hesitating to let us know how much he loved us.

Edward is proceeded in death by his Father, Lee Gutierrez, Mother Kikue Gutierrez, and his Brother Lee Gutierrez Jr. He leaves behind a Son in-Law, Matt Clark, 10 Grandchildren and one Great-grandbaby. One Neice, and two Nephews.

He has left an imprint on our hearts, and we will carry him with us where ever we go.
