Donna Hudson

Donna Hudson, age 78, of Grants Pass, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Horizon Village.

A viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Donna was born January 16, 1934 in Leavenworth, Kansas to William & Margaret Mangan. She grew up, attended schools, and in 1952 graduated from high school all in Leavenworth. On November 24, 1967 in Leavenworth she married Charles Earl “Chuck” Hudson. In 1988 she moved to Grants Pass. She was employed as a medical assistant for a physician for 28 years.

Donna was a HASL board member for five years.

Her hobbies included needlework, cross stitch, reading, and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include a sister, Kathleen Cocherl of Glendale, Arizona; three nephews, Kenny Mangan of Texas, Jimmy Mangan of Branson, Missouri, and Jeff Steele of Glendale, Arizona; a niece, Tammy Rees of Oilton, Oklahoma; two great-nieces, Lauren Rees of Cushing, Oklahoma and Tiphany Steele of Glendale, Arizona; and a great-nephew, Jordin Steele of Glendale, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Hudson; her parents; a brother, William James Mangan Jr; and a grandson, Nathan Charles Hudson.
