Donna Belle Baldwin, age 84, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, April 2, 2014 at her home after a short battle with a brain tumor.
No services are planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Donna was born August 28, 1929 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She spent her younger years living in Arkansas and Oklahoma. In the 1940s in Highland Park, California she worked for Gifts & Gadgets and Pacific Telephone. On March 14, 1948 she married William Baldwin and they had two children, David and Debbie. In 1972 they moved from Highland Park to their home on Riverbanks Road in Grants Pass.
Her hobbies included fishing, gardening, playing cards, and sending cards and letters to family members and her many friends.
Survivors include a son, David Baldwin of Eagle Rock, California; brothers, Marshall Woodward of North Hills, California, Jerry Woodward of Grants Pass, Oregon and Don Woodward; a granddaughter, Misty Dawn; and three great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Lena; her husband, William Baldwin; and her daughter, Debbie Kay Baldwin.
