Donald Lee Hurst

Donald Lee Hurst, age 79, of Cave Junction, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his home.

Donald was born September 18, 1935 in Modesto, California to Harley & Floret Hurst. He owned and operated Homes By Hurst for 40 years. On April 30, 1995 in Junction City, Oregon he married LaWanda. In October 2000, they moved from Junction City to Cave Junction.

He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cave Junction.

Donald was a master gardener.

Survivors include his wife, LaWanda Hurst of Cave Junction; a daughter, Kathy Loker and her husband, Brad of Weott, California; a son, Ronnie Hurst of Eureka, California; two sisters, Doris McKay of Fort Dick, California and Barbara McKay of Gasquet, California and a brother, Jack Hurst of Fortuna, California.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cave Junction.
