Donald B. Dimick Jr.

Donald B. Dimick Jr, age 88, of Rogue River, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Arbor House.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., July 2, 2014 at Woodville Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Don was born June 15, 1926 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Donald B. & Mary J. Dimick. He was raised in Wimer/Rogue River, attended school at Wimer and was a 1945 graduate of Rogue River High School. During World War II he served in the United States Army. On February 26, 1948 at the family homestead in Wimer he married Beverly DeFur. His lifelong career was working in the wood and timber industries.

Don loved sports and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in sport activities.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Lee Dimick; a son, Donald; two daughters, Debby and Denise; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and two sisters.
