Don C.C. Stafford

Don C.C. Stafford, age 77, of Cave Junction, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Don was born July 19, 1935 in Los Angeles, California. He was married to L. Joyce Stafford for 54 years. He served in the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic and also in the United States Navy during the Berlin Crisis, Korea and Vietnam. Don worked as a Data Service Analyst while serving in the United States Navy and retired from the military after 37 years. He worked for McDonnell Douglas as a Computer Analyst and after 35 years he retired in 1991

Don was a member of the American Legion Post 71 in Cave Junction, 40/8 Veteran Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and numerous other clubs.

Survivors include his two sons, Donald W. Stafford of Grants Pass and Robert C. Stafford of Cave Junction; a daughter, Terry L Stafford of Cave Junction; grandchildren, Donald W. Stafford Jr., Pamela J. Stafford, Joni T. Olave, Charles J. Stafford and Chris Olave; great-grandchildren Tabitha Olave and Carmen Olave; Four brothers, Dwayne Stafford, Floyd Stafford, Melvin Stafford and Johnny Stafford.

Preceding him in death was his wife, L. Joyce Stafford and a brother, Danny Stafford, parents, Earl Stafford & Mable Rackley.
