Diana G. Savage Frost

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Diana Savage passed away on July 28, 2018, at her home in Selma, Oregon, after a long battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Alton, Illinois on December 13, 1942 to Earl and Grace Strohkirch and the family moved to Selma, Oregon when Diana was 3 years old.

She graduated from Illinois Valley High School in 1962.

She married Donald Savage in 1964 and had 2 daughters; Beth and Brenda.

She later went back to Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse and worked at the local hospitals.

She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, her little dogs, and Christmas! She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Lofrano of Roseburg, OR; Brenda Searle of Selma, OR; sister Jackie Briggs of San Antonio, TX; brother Dick Strohkirch of Klamath Falls, OR; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband Donald Savage, and her parents Earl and Grace Strohkirch.

The Celebration of Life service for Diana will be held at The First Baptist Church in Selma, Oregon on August 11, 2018, at 11 am. Interment to follow at The Deer Creek Cemetery.
