Delores V. Campbell

Delores Viola Campbell, age 80, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at her home.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Hull & Hull Chapel. The family has requested casual attire for the service. Private interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Delores was born April 24, 1929 in Leland, Oregon to Emmett Crouse and Edith Athalene Reed. She spent a short time in Denmark, Oregon before moving back to the Leland, Sunny Valley, Wolf Creek area. On January 9, 1971 in Reno, Nevada she married Henry L. “Butch” Campbell. They moved to Placer, Oregon, then to Glendale, Oregon, and in 1993 moved to Grants Pass, Oregon. She was a homemaker.

Delores was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America Auxiliary and a life member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Delores enjoyed cooking, canning, and watching football, especially the Oregon Ducks. She enjoyed her faith and attending church, especially Sunny Valley Outreach Ministries.

In addition to her husband, Henry L. “Butch” Campbell of Grants Pass, Oregon; she is survived by two sons, Danny Brickey of Grants Pass, Oregon and Douglas Brickey of Tennessee; three daughters, Patricia Price of Grants Pass, Oregon and Brenda Brickey of Central Point, Oregon; and Gayla Ross of Sunny Valley, Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Raylee, Billy, Harold; a daughter, Michelle Brickey; and a granddaughter, Edith.
