Deborah M. Dobson

Deborah Martha Dobson, 62, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2018 in the comfort of her home in Gold Hill, Oregon, with family by her side.

She was born Deborah Martha Simmons on July 10, 1955 in Akron, Ohio to Jim Simmons and Katherine Young.

Being the life of the party, everyone enjoyed Deborah’s company. She had the best sense of humor, and she was always making her friends and family laugh. Deborah was a special person, and she meant a lot to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Samantha and Nicolas Chanquet of White City, Oregon; sister Connie Benham of Gold Hill, Oregon; brother Jim and Becky Simmons of Coppell, Texas; step-daughters Kimberly and Craig Perkins of Quinlan, Texas, and Kristin and William Switzer of Allen, Texas; nephews Bob and Jennifer Burns of Niles, Ohio and Jim Simmons III of Coppell, Texas; nieces Sarah and Robert Betts of San Francisco, California and Michielle Read of Las Cruzes, New Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces/nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother Katherine Shipe; Father Jim Simmons; sister Katherine Clutter; and nephew Craig Burns.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2558 Agate Meadows Ct, White City, OR. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.since1928hull.com or in person at the Celebration of Life.
