Deborah Ann Riccatone

Deborah Ann Riccatone, age 67, of Grants Pass, died November 9, 2017 at her home.

Deborah was born June 8, 1950 in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Aguilar High School in Aguilar, Colorado in 1968. In August 1971 in Walsenburg, Colorado she married Michael Riccatone. Together they moved from Aguilar to St. Paul, Oregon and then to Grants Pass 39 years ago. Deborah worked for the “In-Between” county youth rehabilitation.

Deborah volunteered as 4-H mother, youth soccer coach, and was responsible for the set-up of all club sports for Oregon high schools.

She enjoyed spending her time with family and close friends. Most of all, she loved the ocean! She enjoyed walking on the beach and the occasional trip to the casino. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who attended and supported her children in all their sporting events, rarely ever missing a game. She was always on the sidelines showing her love and support for those who meant the world to her.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Riccatone of Grants Pass, Oregon; three children, Michael Dean Riccatone, Scott Gregory Riccatone, and Julie Kay Milstead and husband Scott Milstead; brother, Pat Milinazzo and wife Debbie; brother-in-law, Louie Riccatone and wife Julie; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Julie Debella; her adopted father, Dominic Milinazzo; and her father, Greg Debella.

A viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Recitation of the rosary will be at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church. A funeral mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Father William Holtzinger officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
