Coy was born on January 25, 2000 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Jim and Eunice Bryan. He was set to graduate from Mountain Village high school on May 5, 2018. His senior motto was, “It doesn’t matter.” He was going to visit his grandparents Elizabeth and Jesse from May 11 – July 25, 2018 in Oregon. After visiting his grandparents for the summer he planned to return to Alaska and live in Anchorage, find a job at one of the Hunting/Sportsman’s warehouses, and his ultimate goal was to be a gun smith after he turned 21. He enjoyed playing modern warfare games online with numerous friends from Germany, Canada, Japan, and Alaska. His online name was gunman9090 and he ranked number 6. He would always give positive reinforcement and advice to his friends and on-line friends facing troubles.

Coy was a gentle, loving and caring son, brother, cousin, and nephew that will be missed dearly by all his family and friends. He was a shy and compassionate individual who loved the outdoors, hunting and gathering subsistence food for his family. Coy spent days in the wilderness with his dad, enjoying the cool fresh air and the peace of mother-earth. Coy was very close to his dad and loved him very much. He grew very close to his dad’s friends and developed many relationships with them over phone conversations. Coy will always be remembered for his kindness and joy that he shared when he was in our presence. We all reminisce on how shy Coy was and when we held conversations with him, he would always have huge smile and blink his eyes “everlasting memory of many relatives.”

A viewing will be at 12 Noon, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in Grants Pass, Oregon. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Hull & Hull with interment following at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass.
