Corey Clifford Ray Steward

Corey Clifford Ray Steward, age 20, of Wolf Creek, died Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Rogue Regional Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident.

Corey was born on December 24, 1995 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Clifford & Shelly Steward.

Corey loved his friends and rallying his truck. He really loved everything about life. If you ask people what they missed the most, they would say his contagious smile as he was always smiling. He was a hard worker, putting his all into everything. Corey wore his heart on his sleeve and would always lend a helping hand in any way he could. Not only did he hold his family together, but the whole town of Wolf Creek, Oregon. It will never be the same without him.

Corey loved camping, swimming, listening to LOUD music, 4 x 4ing, smoking dabs & drinking Hefe. He mostly enjoyed being with his friends.

Survivors include his mother, Shelly Scott of Wolf Creek; two sisters, Shelby Steward, age 26 and Anjeanette Dougherty, age 23, both of Grants Pass, Oregon; a brother, Selby Steward, age 21 of Grants Pass, Oregon; and a nephew, Blaze, age 3 of Grants Pass.

Preceding him in death was his father, “Chipper” in November of 2011.

A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Wolf Creek Park, Wolf Creek, Oregon.
