Colene Katherine Cooper

Colene Katherine Cooper, 83, of Grants Pass died March 13, 2010, at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes in Sacramento, Calif. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

Cooper was born May 15, 1926, in Sands, N.C., to Fields Blankenship and Edna Parsons. In 1952, she married Walter “Curly” Cooper Jr., who died in 1969. She worked as a caregiver for more than 35 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Kline of Washington state, and Cheryl Cooper of California; three sons, Donald Cooper Sr. and Timothy Cooper, both of Grants Pass, and Michael Cooper of Alaska; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
