Clifford Marion Magee

Clifford Marion Magee, age 91, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at his home.

A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Eagle Point National Cemetery with Pastor Wes Winn officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Clifford was born June 28, 1917 in Tonasket, Washington to Marion Joseph & Lois Eleanor (Olmstead) Magee. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II and Korea. He was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base and retired as Chief Warrant Officer. In 1972 he retired and moved to Wolf Creek and lived there until 2004 when he moved to Grants Pass. On October 14, 2004 in Grants Pass he married his wife, Rosemary.

His hobbies included camping, hunting, and fishing. After retirement, he liked to drive his tractor and raise cows, goats and chickens.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Frances Magee of Grants Pass; two daughters, Patricia Grigg (Ervin) of Santa Maria, California and Connie Holdredge (Larry) of Nipoma, California; and son, Steven Magee (Lori) of Wolf Creek, Oregon; a sister, Shirley Magee of Auburn, Washington; eight grandchildren, Kathy (Troy) Saunders, Tim Magee, Christina (Dean) Shupp, Denyse (Dan) Touma, Mark (Noelle) Landers, Kim (Jesse) Grob, Kelly (Ron) VanderVeen, Clifford (Toni) Grigg; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death was his first wife Esther, his second wife, Margaret and a grandson, Raymond Grigg.
