Clifford E. "Cliff" Vanderbush

Clifford E. “Cliff” Vanderbush, age 79, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Cliff was born June 13, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to Herman & Martha Vanderbush. He graduated from Mark Keppel High School in Monterey Park, California in 1947. For four years he served in the United States Navy. On February 24, 1951 in Monterey Park he married Gloria Haney. He was a journeyman press operator for the Los Angeles Times Tribune and Gravure-West newspapers for 35 years. He retired in 1991 before moving to Oregon.

His hobbies included fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Tabbert of Santa Barbara, California and Sherri Wilson of Simi Valley, California; two sisters, Marilyn Griffin of Filmore, California and Gloria Jenkins of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers, Bud Vanderbush and Alfred Vanderbush both of California; six grandchildren and five great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Vanderbush; his daughter, Kim Roache who died in 2001.
