Cleo June Murray

Cleo June Murray, age 85, of Selma, died January 27, 2010 at 5:30 am.

She was born in Seattle, Washington in 1924 to Ester & Robert Clarke.

No service is planned and she will be buried next to her husband, Cliff Lowden Murray, who preceded her in death on June 11, 2006.

She had one brother, Rev Fred Seaward, who along with his wife Margaret, have been missionaries in Singapore and the vicinity since 1955. Two of her sons, Michael and John live in Selma. Her eldest son, Rev Cliff Murray lives in Ridgecrest, California by whom she had four grandchildren, Sharon Roberts, Darleen Jeyarajah, Suzanne Mickel, Cliff III, 13 great-grandchildren; and an adopted grandson, Billy Dillard of Selma.

Cleo and her husband Cliff were lifelong friends with Jack & Martha Burgan of Grants Pass, both men having served in World War II, but aboard different ships.

Cleo loved the outdoors and her dogs were the “light of eye,” however, most of all, she adored her God, knowing she was going to be with Him for eternity.
