Claud Dale Wyland, age 81, of Wolf Creek, died February 4, 2019 at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland.
Claud was born December 11, 1937 in Grants Pass. He spent all his life in Grants Pass and Wolf Creek. He worked as a long-haul truck driver and a logger.
Claude loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation.
Survivors include two daughters, Heather Wyland of Salem, Oregon and Rachelle Isham of Dallas, Oregon; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Campbell of Grants Pass and Anice Nelson of Washington DC; brother, Leon Gochanour of Smith River, California; and many other extended family members.
Claud was preceded in death by siblings, Viola Harriman of Crescent City, California, Frank Gochanour of Snoqualmie, Washington, Iris Gravatt of Rogue River, Lillian Lear of Medford, and Clarence Wyland of Grants Pass.
No public services will be held. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. His cremated remains will be interred next to his father in Gardiner, Oregon.
