Clare L. Prior

Clare L. Prior (76) passed peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her home in Cave Junction with her family and friends at her side. She was born, Clarese Linton Hart, in Alhambra, California on May 30, 1939 to Charles Herbert Hart and Theresa Bouchard, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Verne W. Prior. Clare and Verne retired from Redding, California and moved to Cave Junction in 1995.

Clare was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved her friends and family, and enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and life itself.

In addition to her husband Verne, she is survived by her sister Nancy (husband George), brother Wally Bouchard (wife Sue). She is also survived by daughters, Kelly Caulfield, Kathy Gooden (husband Dave) and sons Glenn Clark, Gary Clark and Norm Prior. She is also survived by granddaughters Sara Rogers, Emalee Rogers, Haylee Peralta (husband Carlos), Kari Wurch-Goldenson (husband Richard), Kayla Prior and grandsons Joe Wurch, Gregg Gooden, Matt Gooden, Joshua Veach, and Brandon Veach in addition to 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Muriel Wren and sons Cris Bures and David Prior.

In honor of Clare's request, there will be no public services.
