Catherine Helen Pettit

Catherine Helen Pettit, age 56, of Selma, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Private services were held. Southern Oregon Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

Catherine was born May 28, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mike and Annelise Horvath. She moved from Lincoln City to Selma in 1997.

She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice and played the guitar; she also enjoyed thrift store shopping and fishing, especially on the Illinois River. Catherine was known for her gentle spirit.

Survivors include her companion, Joseph Sanati of Selma; daughter, Jennifer Pettit of Portland; brother, Steve Horvath of Talent and two grandchildren, Rachel & Tristan, both of Portland.
