Cameron Frank Foster, age 32, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his home.

A visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Savage Street Building.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Savage Street Building. Interment will follow at Gotcher Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Cameron was born June 22, 1979 in Grants Pass to Ronald & Cerena Foster. At age 16 he began working at Carl’s 4X4 as lead auto mechanic until he left for college in 2003. On September 20, 2003 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Portland Temple he married Marcella Klein. In Tulsa, Oklahoma he received his associate degree from Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology and received his Airframe and Powerplant certifications with honors in 2005. From 2005 to 2008 he worked for Erickson Air Crane and Carson Helicopter Services. In November 2010 he was diagnosed with AML Leukemia and spent eight months in remission having fun with his wife, son, and family while living in Myrtle Point, Oregon where he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Coquille Ward.

Cameron was active in Del Saito’s Martial Arts Training Center. At age 14, he earned the Eagle Scout Award and was currently a scoutmaster.

His many hobbies included quad riding at the dunes; kayaking the Rogue; snowboarding; mechanics; playing the Native American flute; eating great food; rock climbing; dirt bike riding; and karate.

In addition to his wife, Marcella Foster, Cameron is survived by a son, Kodiak Foster; his parents, Cerena V. Foster and Ronald Keith Foster; and two brothers, Phil Foster and Ron Foster II all of Grants Pass, Oregon.
