C. Franklin “Frank” Daniels Jr, age 77, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his home.

Frank was born January 29, 1936 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Curtice & Mildred Daniels and they moved to Oregon six months later. He attended grade school in Klamath Falls, Oregon; Junior High in Roseburg, Oregon and in 1954 graduated from Glendale (Oregon) High School. On August 25, 1956 in San Diego, California, Frank married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Lee Hodge. In 1958 they returned to Glendale, and in 1968 they moved to Grants Pass. For 20 years Frank was employed by the Robert Dollar Company in Glendale as Master Mechanic until the company sold in 1981. Frank worked with his son for 15 years transporting vehicles under the name Car Trek, a shuttle enterprise, retiring in 2008.
Frank was a former member of the Elks and Grants Pass Active Club.
He loved flying, vintage cars, riding motorcycles, house boating on Lake Shasta, water and snow skiing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Daniels of Grants Pass; three children, Lance Daniels and wife Melinda, Korky Daniels and wife Kim and Derrik Daniels all of Grants Pass; 7 grandchildren, Charley Daniels of Los Angeles, California, Nick Daniels of Grants Pass, Oregon, Ashleigh Daniels of Oyster Bay, New York, Micaleigh Daniels of Corvallis, Oregon, William Daniels of Bremerton, Washington, Jordan Daniels of Grants Pass and Christian Daniels of Buckeye, Arizona; a sister Jacqulyn Daniels of Tillamook, Oregon.
Preceding him in death was his parents, Curtice & Mildred Daniels and a sister, Barbara Chrysler.
