Bonnie Marlene Begg

Bonnie Marlene Begg, age 85, of Grants Pass, died October 3, 2019 at an adult foster home.

Bonnie was born October 17, 1933 in Spring Creek, Missouri to Mabel Melvina & Claude Lee Crow the oldest of three children. As a youth, she moved with her family first to Taft, California and then as a teenager to Ventura, California. She lived in Ventura most of her life before moving to Grants Pass, Oregon six years ago to be closer to her children living in Oregon. She was a caregiver to her husband Patrick until he passed away in September 1997.

Bonnie was a Jehovah’s Witness since she was 16 years old and was dedicated and baptized on September 25, 1949.

She loved to cook and entertain in her younger years.

Survivors include sons Allan Patrick Begg of Grants Pass and Timothy R. Begg of Oak View, California; daughters Patricia J. Wimpee and Julie A. Begg both of Grants Pass; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Woodson “Patrick” Begg; sister Annabelle Wayman; father Claude L. Crow; mother Mabel Melvina Crow; and brother Gabriel Crow.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., November 9, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2412 Williams Highway, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527.
