Bonnie E. Frizzell

Bonnie E. Frizzell, age 87, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at her home.

Family services were held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born January 15, 1923 in Omaha, Arkansas to John & Catherine Barker. She was raised in Arkansas before moving to California. In 1941 in California she married George Lynn Cheney and in 1947 they moved to Grants Pass. Her first husband died in 1960 and in 1980 in Sunny Valley she married Jacob Frizzell, who preceded her in death in 2000.

Since 1968, she was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, going to Seven Feathers, and cooking and baking for her family – especially pies. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Swallow of Sunny Valley, Oregon; a son, Lynn Cheney of Grants Pass, Oregon; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
