Betty was born September 1, 1931 in Portland, Oregon. At age three, she was adopted by Harold & Helen Logsdon. She was raised in Jefferson, Oregon attending grade school 1-8 across the road from her house and graduating from Jefferson High School. She played clarinet in band and loved her horses. Her grandparents lived next door and she spent a lot of time “helping” in the garden, kitchen, and barn.

Betty was a homemaker who loved raising her children. When she moved to Southern Oregon, her interest in unique flowers became a way of gathering souvenirs from various trips and adding them to her garden. In 1979 she moved from Albany to Grants Pass.

She was a faithful follower of Jesus and attended many Bible studies.

Her hobbies included flowers, little dogs, and trips around Oregon – especially the Oregon coast.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Grosenbach of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sons, Rex Nofziger of Grants Pass, Oregon and Steve Nofziger of Tangent, Oregon; a sister, Donna McLain of Redmond, Oregon; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Nofziger.
