Betty Elizabeth Hyatt

Betty E. Hyatt, age 92, of Grants Pass, died November 28, 2019 at her home.

Betty was born November 21, 1927 in San Jose, California to Charles & Rosa Borello. She spent her childhood in San Jose before marrying Leslie Hyatt who was serving in the United States Navy. They moved to Virginia and had three children before settling in San Jose. In 1970 they moved from San Jose to Grants Pass.

Betty loved riding horses, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters Judy Odom and Shirley Price both of Grants Pass, Oregon; grandchildren Winston Odom of Grants Pass, Tyler Odom of Carlton, Oregon and Robinson Odom of San Jose; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Hyatt; son Ronald Hyatt; sister Eldiva Sorci; brothers Louis Borello, Ted Borello and Chester Borello; and son-in-law Jake Price.

A viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., December 10, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., December 11, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Pastor Tom Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
