Barbara Skinner Huff

Barbara Skinner Huff, age 84, of Hugo, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Shan Creek Community Church, 6101 Riverbanks Road, Grants Pass with Pastor Guy Shields officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Barbara was born March 12, 1929 in Stillwater, New Jersey to Harold & Helen Skinner. She was raised in New Jersey and in 1947 graduated from Newton High School. On December 3, 1949 in Stillwater she married Bill “Huffy” Huff. They lived in Florida for five years, Colorado Springs, Colorado for two years, and in 1965 moved to the Rogue Valley.

Barbara was a member of a senior bowling league and attended Shan Creek Community Church for many years.

Her hobbies included bike riding, traveling, the Oregon Coast, bowling, and walking her dog, Bonnie. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her husband, William E. Huff of Hugo, Oregon; two sons, William H. Huff of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Terry Huff of Hugo, Oregon; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Huff in 2007 and Daniel Huff in 2011.
