Arthur Guevara

Arthur Guevara passed away from cancer Friday morning at 70 years of age, June 17th, surrounded by family in his home. Arthur was born in Los Angeles on July 7, 1940 to George and Bonnie Guevara, the second of four boys. Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1951, he volunteered countless hours loyally serving others in the public ministry and the congregation. Arthur married Gail Hammer on August 12, 1972. He was the loving father to three children. After operating and owning meat markets in Los Angeles he became a swimming pool designer for many years and worked as a consultant after moving to Grants Pass in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Gail, and his three children, Rachel Dickerson, Justin Guevara, and Xochil Guevara, as well as two grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many friends.
