Ann Sharp

Ann Sharp, age 90, of Grants Pass, died Monday, February 7, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

No local services are planned. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Josephine Community Libraries in Grants Pass (www.josephinelibrary.org).

Ann was born August 22, 1920 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Walter & Amy Oviatt. On October 30, 1948 in Clark County, Nevada she married Virgil Glen Sharp, who died March 14, 2000. Ann worked for the Los Angeles County & Santa Monica Municipal Court in Southern California for many years. Ann & Virgil moved to Grants Pass in 1982.

Ann enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and traveling around the Northwest and California.

She is survived by a son, John Sharp; daughter-in-law, Barbara Sharp and two granddaughters, Rebecca Sharp and Victoria Sharp all of Sugar Land, Texas.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gordon Sharp.
