Joine Fregoso

Joine Fregoso, age 95, of Grants Pass, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at her home.

Joine was born December 27, 1920 in Gonzales, California to John & Frieda Collins. She was raised in Gonzales, graduated from high school there, and for five years owned and operated the Sugar Bowl Cafe. On November 8, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada she married Joseph Paul Fregoso. She worked as a postmistress for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. In 1981 she moved from California to Grants Pass.

Joine enjoyed camping, cooking, and dancing.

Survivors include a stepson, Paul Fregoso; and a sister, Doris.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Loretta.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
